Evening everyone,

Here is one of the many cards I made today, sadly my camera died just as I was about to take a photo of the second card.

The Christmas bauble is the long one with 3 sections, I just cut the first one out and coloured them both with crayola pencils.

Will post more photos of the other cards when my camera has a new battery.

Bye for now,

Evening all,

As promised... photos of the class. It was so fun, can't wait to do another one!

All the girls at the Trinity Craft Group were so kind; if any of you ladies are reading this, Thanks so much again for having me and I hope you all enjoyed it.

 The entire table set up.
An individual space with the cute little bird house! The OCD kicked in when it came to laying out the paint brushes and packs of leaves!

Unfortunatly I didn't take a photo of the finished item as dad was late for a hair cut! But will post it later on in the week.

Spring is all in the frame!!!...

...Hi all,
Here is a deep box picture frame I made using Jofy stamps, paints, buttons, gems, beads... and whatever else I could find in my collection.

THE FRAME
I bought the deep picture frame from the Range and painted it using paperartsy fresco finish paint. The colour I used was chalk from the limited Jofy collection.

The decoration was painted also using paperartsy fresco finish paint, but LOADS of different colours!!! I also threw in some distress ink when it came to stenciling (peeled paint for the plants and antique linen for the tiny dots).

The leaves were made simply with green dotty paper and stuck onto green twine embellished with 4mm violet Swarovski beads.

The fence you can see in the bottom right-hand corner is decorated using Grunge Paste in a French Roast colour (French Roast is a paperartsy fresco finish paint).

THE PICTURE
The picture is also made using Jofy stamps...suprise...suprise!!!Lol!!!

Cut the card the same size as the inside of the frame and distress the outside using broken china and peeled paint distress ink. TIP: Don't go to far into the card as you don't want to make it too busy!!!

Stamp one of the birds from the mini in the "far" left hand side, HINT: You can use either of the birds, if you use the male bird (blue) reverse the bird cage and lettering round so it doesn't look odd!!

Stamp another onto card and paint it - cut that one out and 3D foam it on top of the other one after stamping the bird cage and painting the cobbles on the rim. TIP: Use grunge paste in a variety of colours to paint the cobbles - try to use corresponding colours to the bird.

Once again stamp some more - 'a garden planted with hopes, dreams and love' in the opposite sideand paint it with french roast and orchid (Fresco finish paint...again!!!).

OPPTIONAL: If you want you can add in buttons like I have, tiny dots (stencil), curling flowers and a tiny tag with the word 'spring' or 'summer' (both the tag and spring/summer are Jofy stamps...as usual!!!). You could even distress around the tag with a Tim Holtz paper distresser. as an extra you could stamp the other bird, paint that and add it to the opposite corner so they are facing each other.

That's a lot of writing, next time I will make sure to take photos of each and every step so you can see it for real instead of me trying to explain it.

Enjoy,
